There may have been a version of you who:
- Stayed quiet.
- Kept everybody happy.
- Did everything alone.
- Worked constantly.
- Accepted less.
- Avoided conflict.
- Never asked for help.
- Stayed ready for the worst.
That version of you may have served an important purpose.
But survival strategies don’t have to become permanent identities.
From Survival to Becoming™
TTT describes the journey through three broad experiences:
COCOON
Survival & Protection
You adapt.
You cope.
You protect.
You get through.
DISCOMFORT
Awareness & Unlearning
You begin realizing: “What helped me survive may not be helping me live.”
This stage can be uncomfortable because you’re learning something new before the old thing has completely let go.
BECOMING
Intention & Integration
You begin practicing: Boundaries. Self-trust. Regulation. Connection. New beliefs. Different choices. Purpose.
Not perfectly. Intentionally.
The BECOME Framework
B: Become Aware
What am I noticing?
E: Establish Safety
What do I need to feel safe enough to change?
C: Calm My Nervous System
Can I regulate before I react?
O: Organize New Beliefs
What did survival teach me, and what do I believe now?
M: Move With Intention
What choice aligns with where I’m going?
E: Embody Becoming
How do I practice this new way of living?

The Journey From Survival to Becoming Isn’t Just Personal, It’s Generational
You Don’t Have to Erase Your Story to Write What’s Next.
The goal isn’t to become someone who was never affected by what happened.
The goal is to understand yourself well enough that your past no longer gets to make every decision about your future.
Surviving was necessary. Becoming is intentional.
